Senior Full Stack Engineer

A dynamically growing Slovak company is currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for long-term cooperation on products, which are already used by more than 4 000 000 users across the globe, including such companies as Apple, Cisco, BMW, and NASA. Direct cooperation.

required skills:

Must have (advanced level or more):

• 5+ years experience in software development
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with Modern JS (TypeScript, ES6/7, reactJS)
• Experience with Relational DBs → MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
• Experience with NoSQL DBs → MongoDB, Redis
• Experience with Git

Good to have (intermediate level or more):

• Experience with PHP, Ruby, Go, Rust, or others besides Node.js
• Experience with AWS SDK (S3, Glacier, etc.)

Nice to have (basic level or more):

• Message queues → RabbitMQ
• TimescaleDB, ElasticSearch, or other specialized DBS
• Networking (DNS, IP, HTTPS, routing, etc.)
• Apache Spark or other big data platforms
• DigitalOcean, Hetzner, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other clouds

responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality solution (code) for assigned Epics, tasks, and bugs
• Testing and analyzing for edge-cases
• Having very high-level coding standards
• Breaking the complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks
• Analyzing the problem and finding the best solution
• Splitting the solution into separate tasks that make sense for better planning and estimations
• Managing your workflow and informing about your progress
• Informing DEV managers if there are any issues, blockers, or unexpected problems
• Cooperation with PO & DEV lead(s) to achieve your main mission
• Helping with architectural decisions
• Helping with a technical feasibility analysis of new features
