The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Centre (JACC) is the biggest cultural center and opera house in the Middle East that operates under the Ministry of Culture of Kuwait. It’s a multidisciplinary public space striving to entertain, educate, and inspire the people of Kuwait. It offers a range of events – in music, theatre, film, workshops, and lectures – for every generation and sector of society.
business challenge
Previous JACC’s web, iOS, and Android applications were built in 2016 with no recent significant updates. The apps had to be aligned with the best practices in building customer journeys, be visually appealing, and include key capabilities to support the future vision.
Our goal was to develop apps that enable onsite visits, enhance visitor’s experience, and deliver the organization’s mission through UX.

ImproveIT team worked on upgrading a comprehensive suite of applications designed to elevate visitor experiences across multiple platforms – web, iOS, Android.
JACC applications offer an enhanced user interface with updated home pages, seamless navigation, and intuitive event browsing capabilities. Users can easily manage their profiles, and access their order history and upcoming events. These applications integrate with the existing seat selection and payment flows.
Additionally, QR code generation is integrated into the ticketing process, providing users with a seamless ticketing experience.
